“Music is our religion.”
EM Records is Elena Mîndru’s independent records label. It was established in 2012 and the initial purpose was to publish and distribute the jazz singer’s albums. This changed in 2015 when the label started publishing albums of other bands as well, the first one being Brassica Soup of Bega Blues Band. In 2016, JazzyBit’s album Horizon was also published under EM Records.
The present aim of EM Records is to help artists publish their own music without having to give up to their copyrights as composers and artists of their own work.
EM Records collaborates for distribution with Cărturești and Bookstore for Romania and Playground Music for the Scandinavian and the Baltic countries.
